EMILY MOON
Emily Moon is a junior at McLean High School in Virginia and the founder of Harmony With U (HWU). Emily founded HWU as a 14-year-old and now directs all strategy, community partnerships, and program development for the nonprofit. Her leadership has built a sustainable bridge between the arts and social impact, cultivating a growing network of Junior Ambassadors to bring music education to underserved youth.
Emily’s work has received recognition from the 2025 Community Champion Award from Shelter House Inc. and the Volunteer of the Year Award from the City of Fairfax Inter-Service Club Council. Her commitment has been featured in live segments on FOX 5 News. While rooted in Northern Virginia, Emily is currently spearheading the expansion of HWU to other states to scale her model of music-driven social welfare nationwide.
She strongly believes in the power of music for emotional stability and discusses her journey of youth leadership and nonprofits at speaking events and government testimonies across the nation.
